The process takes around two days, on average. Large areas or several rooms may need more time.
We try to work with your schedule as much as possible. Which is why most of our activities are done during the weekends, holidays, or evenings. If we must sand your floors during the day, you will need to make alternative plans. This is because there will be restricted access to the floors until we finish working.
It starts with all furniture being cleared off the floor. We will also remove any foreign object like nails, adhesives and so on.
Next, we will sand the floors to ready them for the first sealant coat. Immediately after this the second coat, which takes about 24 hours to dry, follows.
The third coat is put on the next day. 24 hours after the final coat has been applied, the floor will be ready for use. However, we suggest removing your shoes when using the floor. Also, do not plac furniture for at least 48 hours, as polyurethane takes seven days to cure completely.
